A forensic doctor told Dubai Appeals Court the injuries meant force was used against the boy

Dubai: A forensic doctor told a court on Sunday that brain congestion was the main cause of the death of the four-year-old Pakistani boy, who was raped and murdered last November.
"The boy’s autopsy showed three bruises on the head and - which in my opinion - led congestion in his brain which led to swelling then he died. Force was used against the boy and that’s why he had those bruises showing on different parts of his head,” the Egyptian forensic doctor stated before the Dubai Appeal Court on Sunday.
The doctor was quizzed by advocate Abdul Rahman Al Mudharreb, who is defending the 30-year-old Emirati convict, R.R., on death row for raping and killing the Pakistani boy.
Replying to Al Mudharreb’s questions, the doctor testified before Presiding Judge Eisa Al Sharif in courtroom 20: "The traces of semen and raptures on the boy's rectum confirm that he was subject to partial penetration..."
Al Mudharreb will present his defence next Sunday.
