Body found in Sharjah building’s garbage chute

Sharjah: A decomposed body was found in the garbage chute of a residential building in Sharjah’s Rolla area.

The body was identified as that of a 24-year-old Bangladeshi man. The victim is believed to have worked as a cable TV technician.

The body was found after residents of the building complained of a bad odour coming from the garbage chute and reported the issue to Sharjah Police. The police found the body stuck in the chute.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
