Abu Dhabi: Three people have been arrested in the capital for theft from cars, Abu Dhabi Police announced today (October 11).
The three suspects are Africans.
Police teams were dispatched to the site of the theft to collect evidence.
“The follow-up teams arrested two Ethiopian suspects,” said Colonel Ahmad Al Muhairi, director of the Capital Police Directorate in Abu Dhabi.
“The third suspect, also an Ethiopian, was arrested before fleeing the country,” he added.
The stolen items were confiscated.
“The three suspects have criminal records for 10 other offences,” Colonel Al Muhairi said.
He urged the public to lock their cars and not keep valuables in vehicles.
