Corporate treat for families

A family fun day has been organised for companies which firmly believe that all work and no play can make them dull. Technical Resources Establishment (TRE) will host the event on November 10 at Wonderland, Dubai. About 500 guests are expected to turn out.
The companies have to register with TRE by November 4. Entry is free for all working members and their families. The event will go on from 11.30am to 6.00pm. Food is complimentary and a raffle will be the attraction for the day. The total prizes available are worth Dhs 25,000, ranging from DVD players to holiday packages.
Each guest will be asked to drop his/her business card in a fish bowl. A card will be picked out at random to decide the winner. This raffle will be held at 3.00pm, after a lunch buffet.
Event co-ordinators Anuj Awasthi and Abhay Mathur have been working on the programme for almost two months. Mathur states: "All the work we do does not involve family and kids. This is the perfect way to increase corporate relationship in an informal setting and spend time with families."
TRE deals in trading and providing services. Their dealership ranges from selling FG Wislon generators to spare parts trading, and construction.
