Owing to the good response to the open art exhibition, 3 Candles Towards Creativity, Creative Modern Centre has extended it until November 30. Nawal Abdul Gaffar Hussain, founder and director, Creative Modern Centre, said a mission without any objective can lead you nowhere. "This by no means could be achieved without generous support of the qualified tutors, children and their parents."
The art exhibition, which was inaugurated by Sheikha Mariam bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, displays all the artistic works of the centre and is a step towards not only providing emotional security to mothers and children but also realise their dream of meeting objectives, to develop the mental faculties of children.
The exhibition is divided into three sections. The first one involves the creative club section which is again divided into two groups. The first group comprises children between the ages five to 12 years and the second group is for girls above 14 years of age.
Nawal said the centre's aim is to help underachieving girls faced with learning disabilities to live healthy and productive lives. And to help these girls realise their full potential, the third section at the exhibition is about the works of the club of girls with special needs.
The centre also gives training to the girls in various departments, providing children with many programmes that promote emotional, physical and social skills in a safe and secure environment.
