Promotions offered by local and international brands at BurJuman Centre led to a surge of above 20 per cent in sales and 30 per cent in visitors traffic during the last three weeks.

Bur Juman Centre has been receiving a large number of shoppers since the start of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), especially residents from the UAE and tourists from neighbouring GCC countries, Africa, Europe and the U.S.

"Sales are rising rapidly because of the individual initiatives by our retail outlets. Sales have gone up by more than 20 per cent and visitors numbers also rose by 30 per cent compared to the same period during last year's DSS," said Sabina Khandwani, head of research and marketing, BurJuman Centre.

Many of Bur Juman stores are offering on their merchandise special offers between 30 to 50 per cent, end-of-season sales and gift vouchers that can be redeemed at the same store from where the shoppers purchased.

BurJuman Centre is also a participant of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) promotion, leading to the grand prize of Dh1 million and several DSS events for families and children, that complement the mall's theme of Summer Fun for Everyone.
