Body recovered from water off Ajman beach

Ajman: Ajman Civil Defence personnel have recovered the body of a man from sea after they spotted it floating in the water.

Lieutenant Salem Al Zaabi, director of customer service at Ajman Civil Defence, told Gulf News that the body was discovered at 2pm by a team of officers and moved to Khalifa hospital.

He said that the Ajman police have been informed and have started an investigation.

Al Zaabi urged beachgoers to check that conditions are safe before entering the water. They should also look out for warning flags placed on beaches and avoid swimming too far from the shore, he said.
