Bani Yas rally to hold Purchases

Bani Yas rallied to hold the Department of Purchases 2-2 in the soccer league, organised by the Abu Dhabi Government Departments Sports Association.

However, Abu Dhabi Municipality and the Water and Electricity Authority emerged winners in respective matches.

Sayed Amer and Mohammed Al Shawadfi put the DP in the lead, but Bani Yas re-organised their lines to level the scores through Khamis Saoud and Marwan Abdullah.

Abu Dhabi Municipality beat the Department of Commercial Build-ings with a solitary goal scored by Waleed Ibrahim, nine minutes before the end of the match, following a strong performance from both teams.

Defending champions, the Water and Electricity Authority defeated the Marines 4-0 with Stephan Androus, Rasheed and Abhilli scoring the goals.
