Back home : Missing woman found

An Indian housewife who was reported missing from her Sharjah house since May 25 was found about three weeks later, her husband and police said.

Parveen, 22, was spotted in Umm Al Quwain on June 15 and escorted home by police.

Her husband Ali had filed a missing person report two weeks ago.

A police official said Parveen had left because of family problems.

Ali said she was upset because she did not know anybody in the UAE. Parveen has mental problems and “suffers from depression too'', according to Ali.

Parveen had been moving from mosque to mosque and shopping malls until she eventually ended up in Umm Al Quwain, he said.
