A Feng-Shui and Vaastu Shastra consultant believes that one can achieve peace, prosperity and total happiness through proper implementation of the two principles without having to demolish or make structural changes to the property.

Dr. Amaresh Mehta, a visiting Feng-Shui and Vaastu Shastra consultant from India, addressed members of Sharjah Indian Ladies Association, unveiling the fascinating mysteries of Feng-Shui, Vaastu Shastra and Pyramid therapy.

Dr. Mehta is a doctor of alternative medicine from a WHO recognised Board of Indian Alternative Medicine. He learnt the oriental science from renowned masters of Feng-Shui namely Adelina Pang and later mastered the same during his visits to China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. He practices a combination of the three methods.

"Each science has its own plus points, since I have learnt all three to great depth, I am able to blend and apply them to arrive at appropriate remedies for all problems. It does not mean that quality is compromised in any way - rather a unique solution is possible for each individual concern. Feng-Shui scores over Vaastu Shastra in that it gives more options and is easier to adapt to each person's specific need. Pyramid therapy is also useful for health benefits," explains the master practitioner who has been globe-trotting for consultations with his clients for last seven years.

He has given more than 700 lectures around the world, his audiences ranging from merchants, doctors, social workers, housewives and students. He believes that one can achieve peace, prosperity and total happiness through proper implementation of Vaastu Shastra and Feng-Shui principles, without having to demolish or make structural changes to the property.

Asked about the vague and superstitious nature of such concepts, Dr. Mehta said, "Lot of misconceptions about these sciences are prevalent in the minds of general public. But if you really think about it, this science is based on common sense. Understanding the basic principles will invoke logical thought processes and everything will seem crystal clear."

"I want knowledge of Vaastu Shastra and Feng-Shui to spread to such an extent that everyone can benefit from it," says Dr. Mehta.
