Ajman Police rescue driver trapped in car wreck

Ajman: The Ajman Police used a hydraulic cutter to rescue a driver trapped in his car after it collided with another car.

Lieutenant Salem Al Zaabi, Director of Customer Service at Ajman Civil Defence said that the Asian drivers of the cars involved in the crash sustained moderate injuries and were taken to the Shaikh Kalifa Hospital in Ajman for treatment.

The collision occurred in AlHamediya area in Ajman, on the road leading to Emirates Road.

Al Zaabi said that one of the drivers was easily taken out of the car and into an ambulance, but the other was trapped and the police had to use the hydraulic cutter to get him out.
