Ajman outplay Ladies Club to take top position

Ajman is at the top of the table with 21 points in the under 16 section of the seventh round of the National Team Chess Championship being held at Gulf Beach Hotel, Sharjah.

Dubai scored 19.5 and is in the second spot while Fujairah is in the third spot with 16.5 points.

Ajman defeated Ladies Club, Sharjah 3.5 – 0.5 after winning the first and last two boards.
Mariam Hassan of LDC drew her game against Khaled Khamis of Ajman.

Fujairah defeated Abu Dhabi 3 – 1 winning the top boards. Mansour Abbas of Abu Dhabi beat Faisal Saleh of Fujairah while Sharjah drew with Dubai 2 –2. Hamed Abdullah and Abdullah Taher defeated Yahya Saleh and Mohamed Al Mulla respectively.
