The footage shows a terrified orange-and-white cat clinging to a barnacle-covered embankment just above the water, waves lapping beneath it with nowhere to climb.

Acting quickly and gently, the worker secures the frightened cat and lifts it to safety. Once on solid ground, the cat scampers off, visibly relieved.
