Indian expat wins Dh15 million in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket draw

Abu Dhabi: An Indian expat based in Oman won Dh15million in the latest draw of Abu Dhabi’s Big Ticket on Thursday.

Rajesh Mullankil Vellilapullithodi won the grand prize of series 273 with the ticket no 375678 which was bought on March 30.

Jahangir Alom, who won Dh20million joined the Big Ticket hosts Richard and Bouchra to select the winning ticket.

A 45-year-old technician from Kerala, who has been living in Oman for 33 years, has finally won after years of trying his luck with Big Ticket. Purchasing tickets every month with a group of friends, Rajesh never expected that this time would be his turn.

“I can’t even put my emotions into words—I was so happy and so shocked when I got the call. Just five minutes before, my friend told me to check, but I never imagined I would actually win,” he shared.

Still processing the big win, he hasn’t made any concrete plans yet, as he and his group will be sharing the prize. But one thing is certain—he will continue purchasing Big Ticket.

Big Ticket’s Series 273 draw also produced another winner as Ali Musharbek will be driving off in style with a brand-new Maserati Grecale.

Originally from UAE, he is currently residing in Sharjah. He purchased his lucky winning ticket online on 15 March 2025, ticket number 018083, and his excitement knows no bounds.
