Water water everywhere

We headed out to Oman for a break. Of course, I knew that Mussandam had an ocean with dolphins and we could see them only if we were lucky.

I expected a break, some difference and a boat trip, but never did I imagine there would be such magnificent beauty in Mussandam.

It was beautiful right from the moment we crossed the border from Ras Al Khaimah.

But I think it is not talked about as much as the other places we often visit around the UAE.

Fascinating landscape

I was fascinated by the unusual landscape and it kept getting better as we reached the hotel in Khasab (Mussandam).

Each sight was unique. I usually get bored visiting the same emirate for a break and don't visit the place until after a month or two. But I can visit Mussandam again and again.

To me, it is a beautiful place that I have been to after a long, long time.

A trip to remember

We visited Mussandam in October during the Eid holidays. We were lucky to witness the sudden appearance of dolphins in groups of twos and threes.

The scenery was spectacular. The cruise we were on offered us a dive in the middle of the sea.

The experience reminded us of the Titanic and we were screaming in excitement.

Till my next trip to Mussandam, these pictures will make for great memories.
