Dubai: The IMG Worlds of Adventure indoor theme park in Dubailand is set to open August 15, Lennard Otto, chief executive of IMG Theme Park, told reporters in Dubai on Sunday.

The theme park, which covers 1.5 million square feet, costs over $1 billion. It has over 20 rides and attractions, 28 food and beverage outlets and 25 retail outlets, Otto said.

It has a capacity of 30,000 visitors per day. Tickets are priced Dh300 for adults and Dh250 for children below one metre.

Tickets can be purchased on the IMG Worlds of Adventure website starting on Monday.

The theme park will have four zones including Marvel, Cartoon Network, IMG Boulevard and Lost Valley. Find out more
