Greg Malouf bids Clé farewell

Michelin-starred Chef and author Greg Malouf will head Clé no more. Clé Dubai was his first restaurant project in the UAE.. “It is with regret that I announce my departure from Clé Dubai due to the expiration of my two-year contract," Malouf said in a statement. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank the kitchen crew, service personnel, managers and owners for their constant support in raising awareness about Middle Eastern food. I would also like to thank the customers, suppliers, friends and family for the wonderful support. I will remain in Dubai researching book number eight, due out late 2017 and continue to lift the profile of contemporary Arabic food.”. Malouf is collaborating once again with former wife, Lucy, to write their eighth book, which he describes as an exploration of the food culture of Beirut. Greg and Lucy Malouf co-wrote New Feast: Modern Middle Eastern Vegetarian (2014), Malouf: New Middle Eastern Food (2011), Saraban (2010), Turquoise (2007), Saha (2005), Moorish (2003), and Arabesque (1999).. Malouf has also been invited to host dinners and attend food festivals from across the world where he continues to showcase his unique brand of Middle Eastern cuisine. Malouf is also open to working on projects in Dubai, Singapore, London and Beirut. .
