SEDD to launch smartphone apps at Gitex 2013

Some e-services will be provided at the department’s stand

Sharjah: Sharjah’s Economic Development Department (SEDD) is preparing for its second participation in Gitex Technology Week 2013.

SEDD plans to demonstrate its accomplishments in the field of technology and visitors will be updated with the latest and most convenient e-services provided by the department.

During the exhibition, SEDD will launch a bundle of e-services, topped by smartphone applications. Visitors will get a close look at the e-services offered by the department to allow customers to complete their transactions through smartphone applications and e-services on the department’s website www.sedd.ae.

Some e-services will be provided at SEDD’s stand such as renewal of trade licence, issuing of trade names, e-payments, booking appointments for technical inspection on trade licence via ‘Saef’ system using smart tablets, in addition to geographic maps system and new licensing system.
