Saudi group goes live with mySAP Business Suite

Saudi Arabia's Food and Fine Pastries Manufacturing Co (FFP Group) has completed the implementation of the mySAP Business Suite from SAP Arabia.

Officials said the new business platform will effect a comprehensive business transformation, by increasing employee efficiency, lowering total cost of ownership (TCO) for systems and administration, and improving productivity and customer satisfaction.

"Other vendors offered us point solutions, which were not an option as they would pose far greater complexity and integration issues. SAP's ability to address the unique needs of our industry segment, as well as its commitment to be a long-term business partner were other key factors in our selection," said Ibrahim Kurdi, managing director of FFP Group.

"We were able to go live with mySAP within the targeted time frame without delays or added capital outlays."

The mySAP Business Suite is widely considered the world's most comprehensive family of adaptive business solutions, providing users with integrated supply chain management, unlimited scalability and easy collaboration over the Internet.

"Our goals for this project were to implement an integrated business management system that provided the necessary tools, reporting and security to meet our current business needs, while offering flexibility for growth," added Kurdi.

Xeca International, FPP Group's implementation partner played the key role of technology deployment for the project, codenamed 'Maestro'.
