E-Ten unveils thinnest pocket PC

Dubai: E-Ten Information Systems has launched the thinnest pocket PC phone with all-in-one features at Gitex.

Glofish X500 combines both GPS and WiFi capabilities into a single device.

The pocket-friendly device uses Windows Mobile 5.0 software and offers dual-standard IEEE 802.11b/g for increased bandwidth and improved security.

Made in China

The product is made in China and is priced at Dh2,800.

"We have got good response from customers and expect the demand to grow further, " Wayne Ma, president of E-Ten told Gulf News.

"E-Ten has been the top vendor of embedded devices in Taiwan since mid-1990s with product sales totalling more than one million units," he said.

The two mega-pixel camera and with high-performance 400MHz Samsung processor allow users to access multiple features for both business and consumers.
