Sonipat: Dubai’s Induss swimming academy won 28 medals between 17 swimmers at the CBSE National Swimming Championship in Rishikul Vidyapeeth, Sonipat in Haryana India from October 26-29.
The club, with training locations at Gems Modern Academy Nad Al Sheba, Al Nasr Club Oud Mehta and Al Mizhar in Al Twar, won 13 gold, 13 silver and two bronze.
Aakash Deep Singh was the star performer winning the individual Under-14 category, while also coming first in the Under-14 Aquathlon.
Elsewhere, Tanish George Mathew won the Under-17 individual category and Harsh Menon took first in the Under-19 Aquathlon.
All swimmers are trained by Induss’ Pradeep Kumar, who won India’s Dhronacharya Award for coaching excellence last year.
