Entries open for Amateur Asian Cup

Dubai: Asian Cup UAE 2019 organisers are calling on amateur footballers to play for their countries in a community event that will replicate January’s 24-team tournament. Players aged 18 and over can register to be added to a ‘national’ team of 15 for seven-a-side matches lasting 25 minutes.

The tournament, taking place on October 26-27 and November 10-16, will mirror the exact countries and groupings of the actual Asian Cup with players playing in the colours of their home or chosen nation. The finals of the tournament will take place in January.
