DSC Academies Championship gets under way

Dubai: The third season of the Dubai Sports Council Football Academies Championship kicked-off on Saturday.

The format has expanded to 100 teams and 2,300 players and will be played over the grounds of Al Wasl, Shabab Ahli and Dubai Sports City until April 27.

UAE clubs and private academies this year include; Shabab Ahli, Al Wasl, the UAE women’s team, Dubai City FC, FC Barcelona, AS Roma, La Liga Academy, Spanish Soccer Schools, TFA, Al Nujoum Academy, Alliance, Kafo, Abu Dhabi Elite, Just Play, Foxes and Invictus.
