Tennis Emirates Days: 10am

The Tennis Emirates Clinic brings members of the UAE Tennis Emirates Junior Development Programme and young boys and girls from different schools together to participate in their skills clinic. In this clinic, the children will get a chance to practice and improve their tennis skills, while getting encouragement and tips from top WTA and ATP players.

Party with the players

Tennis fans will get the chance to attend the invite-only Players’ Party at The Garden at the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel. All you have to do is go to the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships’ Facebook page and comment on the Players’ Party post about what you would say if you got to meet your favourite player. You and a friend might just bag that invite. Go here: facebook.com/ddftennis.

Get the book

Last year, the event celebrated its 25th anniversary by launching a book called Game, Set and Dubai: A Quarter Century of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. The book looks at the history of the event and how the tournament has grown to become one of the most prestigious and popular events on the world tennis tour, and played a role in promoting Dubai as one of the top sporting destinations in the world.
