Bin Drai and Ghantoot in McLaren Cup polo

Dubai: Bin Drai Polo and Ghantoot Polo took their places in the semi-finals of the McLaren Cup 2015 at Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club (DPEC) on Sunday.

The pair earned their spots in the last-four stage with victories over Habtoor Polo in a three-team penalty shootout after all three sides were tied at the end of preliminary rounds.

Bin Drai will take on Desert Palm 2, while Ghantoot will face Zedan Polo in the semi-finals, which are scheduled to be played on Tuesday.

The other four teams will be involved in the secondary semi-finals, with Habtoor Polo playing Mahra Polo and Abu Dhabi up against Desert Palm 1 on Wednesday.
