All change on Nasr board but coach remains

Dubai: Al Nasr boss Ivan Jovanovic may have survived the sack after his side’s 3-1 defeat away to Kalba on Friday, but the entire board has resigned and been replaced.

The blues are bottom of the Arabian Gulf League with four losses from the first four games of the season, despite signing former Newcastle United and Manchester City stars Yohan Cabaye and Alvaro Negredo.

Jovanovic may stay on for now but if he doesn’t win crunch upcoming fixtures at home to Dibba on Thursday and away to Al Wasl on October 19, there could be more change.
