Second Arab Women Sports Tournament: Archery competitions conclude

Sharjah: Archery (18 metre) competitions in the Second Arab Women Sports Tournament (AWST) concluded at Sharjah University on Friday, marking the first time an archery tournament was hosted in the UAE.

In the 20-years category, Muza Al Muhairi from the main Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) won the golden medal with 449 points, followed by Shoq Ahmad from the same club with 443 points.

In the 17-years category, Fatima Abdullah from Sharjah Ladies Club, Al Sharqyeh, won the golden medal, followed by Noura Haroon from the main Sharjah Ladies Club, leaving the third position to be shared between Maitha Al Suwaidi of the main SLC and Muza Hassan of SLC, Al Sharqyeh.
