Sailing school to take part in competition

Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Heritage Club's Emirates Sailing school will participate in the Optimist sailing championship.

The school's participation is in line with the directives of Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President's Representative. The competition will take place on December 28 and runs until January 8, 2011.

Tarek Hosni, the club's general coordinator for races, said that the club's participation in this competition would help its members gain the experience required for taking part in global competitions.

Abdullah Al Obaidli, Director of Emirates Sailing School in the Club, pointed out that the team had achieved international results in local, regional and international thanks to the support of the head of the club.
