This video shows what you do when you're an Olympic javelin champion and your daughter has a wobbly tooth.

Bryan Clay, the Beijing 2008 gold medallist, ties a piece of string to the offending tooth, and the other end to his spear.

An easy throw of the javelin later, and out comes the molar. No tears, no problem.

This is not the first time sport has been used to remove a tooth.
