Formula One Etihad Airways Grand Prix: NBAD renews agreement

Abu Dhabi: The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) has renewed a multi-year agreement to be the official bank of the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

It’s an alliance that started in 2009, when the inaugural grand prix was held at Yas Marina Circuit.

“Renewing our relationship with the Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix confirms NBAD’s commitment to Abu Dhabi’s strategic objective to be a global hub of commerce, business, and culture,” said Alex Thursby, the Group Chief Executive Officer of NBAD. “Hosting a Formula One event has helped immensely in raising Abu Dhabi’s profile globally.”
