Mohammad Al Joker into Expo 2020 Open quarter-finals

Dubai: UAE star Mohammad Al Joker saw off a stiff challenge from Ahmad Shehab to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Dh100,000 Expo 2020 Open Snooker Championship at Dubai Snooker Club on Tuesday night.

Al Joker finally beat Shehab 4-2 after a high-quality match, while Mohammad Shehab dominated Hani Al Houri to win 4-0.

The day’s other last-16 matches saw Abdullah Attar edge Badr Obaid 4-3 and Khalid Kamali beat Khalid Azzouni 4-2.

The 80-player event is supervised and organised by the UAE Billiards and Snooker Association and is sponsored by City Engineering Contracting.
