Dubai World Cup: Extravagant Kid powers to Al Quoz Sprint victory

Heavy favourite Space Blues was beaten in the Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint with Brendan Walsh’s Extravagant Kid delivering a stunning success under Ryan Moore.

Equilateral led the field into the course proper with Godolphin’s Man Of Promise showing some resolve to move to the front briefly.

Running at the stand side, Extravagant Kid burst forward in the 200m to go well clear of the rest with Final Song following him home and Acklam Express running in third.
