Say hello to Abu Dhabi Golf Club (ADGC), owned by Abu Dhabi-based Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) and managed by Troon Golf, this famous oasis in the UAE capital has long been regarded as one of the finest Championship venues on the European Tour and is regularly hailed by professional golfers.

The iconic Falcon has overlooked much drama since the inception of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in 2006. Erected in 2000, the Falcon pays homage to the national bird of the UAE and recognises the importance of falconry in Arab tradition and culture. Dating back hundreds of years, the Bedouin hunters used falcons to gather their food.

ADGC is one of the few European Tour venues that allow its members to experience going behind the ropes during the championship week.

It also provides one of the most luxurious experiences in golf worldwide with two courses, special events and, of course, the week-long festivities at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

ADGC is home to 27 holes of Championship golf. The National, Abu Dhabi’s 18 hole Championship course, provides a tough but fair challenge and is home to the AD Championship, one of the four European Tour Rolex Series events.

With lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers and immaculate greens, the 162-hectares of ADGC also includes the floodlit Garden Course.

The 3,341-yard, par-36 Garden Course is more forgiving than the National, making it an enjoyable experience for all players, especially in the cooler climes of the evening.

The club boasts a variety of leisure facilities with a swimming pool, gymnasium, squash courts, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

The ADGC Pro shop is stocked with all the golfing needs from equipment to golf accessories, gift items and the very latest fashion brands for all ages.

From enjoyable casual meals to fine dining, ADGC offers a wide selection of restaurant options after you have worked up an appetite on the course, in the pool or gym.
