Abu Dhabi's Chantal El Chaib, NEC Player of the Year

Abu Dhabi resident Chantal El Chaib, has been announced as a medalist for the Sacred Hearts University (SHU) as they were Conference Champions.

After growing up in Abu Dhabi at the British International School, Chantal decided to further her studys at the Sacred Hearts University in the USA by majoring in communications. After becoming a member of the Sacred Heart Golf Team she was awarded the NEC (Northeast Conference) Rookie of the Year and got a first-team selection in 2022.

El Chaib was named NEC (Northeast Conference) Player of the Year and was the SHU top player by winning five events with a stroke average of 74 shots for 30.5 rounds.

Chantal followed that with player of the year honours and first-team all-conference this past Spring after shooting 72-71-72 at the LPGA International during the NEC Tournament.
