UAE league to pay media company Dh31 million

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has ordered the UAE Football League (UFL) to pay the media production firm LIVE Broadcast Production & Facilities (LIVE), owned by Abu Dhabi Media Company, a compensatory amount of 9,099,000 euros (equivalent to nearly Dh31 million.

A statement issued today by the ADJD said the order was given in favour of LIVE as a compensation for the production of all matches in the first season of UFL competition 2008-2009.

While LIVE claimed compensation for five years starting from 2008 till 2013, ADJD has declined the claim.
