Glasgow: Rangers manager Ally McCoist says he considered quitting over suggestions that the ailing Scottish club’s new owners wanted to sack him.
McCoist said he was “furious” after hearing second-hand reports that English businessman Charles Green was planning to replace him.
The former Rangers striker decided to stay after a meeting with Green, who led a consortium to purchase the cash-strapped Glasgow giants on Thursday.
