Sourav Ganguly's mother falls ill

Sourav Ganguly's mother, Nirupa Roy, has been hospitalised because of a heart ailment, the former India skipper said on Wednesday.

"She's under observation. I'm not sure of her release yet," Ganguly told reporters.

Ganguly returned from England to attend to his mother who is a septuagenarian. Ganguly is scheduled to return to England on Tuesday, ahead of India's match against West Indies.
