Dubai: The topic of the power couple Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma moving to London keeps cropping up once in a while.

But nothing was concrete despite the Bollywood actress and her cricketer husband being spotted in the UK with their kids on several occasions.

Recently, Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit's husband Dr Sriram Nene spoke about the topic during a chat with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia saying that it was becoming increasingly difficult for both Kohli and Anushka to raise their kids India due to the limelight.

“They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). Anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated," Dr Nene said.

Dr Nene who moved from the US with his wife Madhuri only a few years ago said fame can be tricky. "Anushka and Virat are lovely people who just want to raise their kids normally," he added.

Kohli and Anushka have gained lot attention every time they have been seen in public. The former Indian captain met Anushka through a commercial shoot in 2013 and, after a few years of dating, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in December 2017. In 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Vamika. In 2024, they celebrated the arrival of their second child, a son named Akaay.
