As the cricketing world grieves the sudden passing away of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer, a hospital in Kanour, India, joined the mourning by lighting candles outside the labour room where he was born 58 years ago.
At the Georgina Mc Robert Hospital in Kanpur, 80km from Lucknow, there were some who were deeply grieved over what they termed as the "loss of their dear son". Woolmer died in Jamaica on Sunday.
The hospital staff lit candles in front of the labour room where Woolmer's mother, Charlie, had given birth to him.
