Abdul Razzaq's 151 steers team to semis

The 66-ball knock included 11 sixes, 16 fours

Abu Dhabi" Abdul Razzaq slammed a record 151 in the Abu Dhabi inter-school Under 16 tournament as his team Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Pakistan School eased to the semi-finals after a 218-run win over International School of Choueifat.

It was Abdul Razzaq's second century following his 110 against Abu Dhabi Indian School in the Open division. His 151 is now the highest in the competition conducted by the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council.

The opener hit the Choueifat bowling to all parts of the grounds in an entertaining 66-ball knock that was studded with 11 sixes and 16 fours, and helped his team post 307 for four in 25 overs.

Abdul Razzaq shared two century stands as he put on 140 for with Abed Ullah, who struck 51 off 24 deliveries that contained five sixes and four fours, and added a further 128 with Samuel Charles, who chipped in with just over a run-a-ball 30. The Choueifat batsmen were bowled out for 89, with half the side run out. Arpan Dinesh, the opener, was their top scorer with 43.

In an open division match, Bilal Shakil took five wickets to lead Asian International School-Ruwais to a four-wicket victory over their sister school from Madinat Zayed. Shakil grabbed five wickets for 20 from his five overs while captain Mohammad Ashfaq returned with three for 21 to dismiss AIS Madinat Zayed for 102.
