The tensions were high in Adu Dhabi as Eoin Morgan's Kolkata Knight Riders knew victory would all but tie up a play-off spot as they faced high-flying Delhi Capitals on Saturday in IPL 13.

Morgan lost the toss and were put in to bat, but KKR made the most of the opportunity, despite the early loss of Shubman Gill (9).

Purple Cap leader Kagiso Rabada was among the wickets as he accounted for fallen KKR skipper Dinesh Karthik (3), whose troubles with the bat continued.

However, Nitish Rana stepped up at No. 3 to hit a brilliant 81 off 53 balls to put KKR in the driving seat.
