AL KHAN: Al Khan is one of the prime waterfront communities in Sharjah. There is the Al Khan Bay or Al Khan Lagoon which is a key part of the neighbourhood. Within the emirate of Sharjah, the community of Al Khan is considered one of the most popular places to rent and buy apartments. Average rents here hover around Dh22,000 and Dh24,000 for a one-bedroom unit. Some units come with free parking as well. Asking price for one bed room with two bathrooms in a brand new building is Dh26,000. So take your pick.

Al QASSIMIYA: Al Qassimiya is close to King Faisal road, Abdul Aziz road, Al Estiqlal road. Asking rest for a building in this area is Dh24,000 for a spacious two-bedroom unit. A three-bedroom unit with free chiller in a building located in Al Nud, behind Megamart is asking a rent of Dh48,000 per annum.

Al NAHDA: Al Nahda, Sharjah is an extension of Al Nahda area in Dubai. It lies between Sharjah and Dubai. Many people who work in Dubai prefer staying in Al Nahda Sharjah as it is cheaper than what it is in the Dubai side. Al WAHDA: Al Wahda Street in Sharjah is a residential and commercial area consisting of famous retail stores, malls and supermarkets, all of which are within walking distances. Al Wahda Street's residential area lies on the Al Majaz side where it is close to landmarks such as City Centre Sharjah, Star Cineplex, Al Noor Mosque and Al Majaz Waterfront. Al Taawun, Al Nahda, Sharjah's industrial areas and Abu Shagara are all easily reachable from the residential area of Al Wahda Street. CORNICHE AL BUHAIRA: Corniche Al Buhaira is a narrow strip of land around Khalid Lake featuring residential complexes, resorts, parks, supermarkets and restaurants. ROLLA: Located to the east of Khalid Lake, Rolla Area is a small yet prominent community in Sharjah. The area is termed 'Rolla' after a large banyan tree that once thrived in the area. Rolla is part of the Al Ghuwair development, the neighbourhood is nestled between the communities of Al Shuwaihean and Al Musalla. Average rents here hover around Dh12,000 for studio, Dh16,000 for one-bedroom, Dh25,000 for two-bedroom apartment.

ABU SHAGARA: Abu Shagara is located between Al Wahda Street (E11) and King Faisal Street. The community boasts an array of residential buildings with affordable accommodation options. Average rents here hover around Dh16,000 for a one-bedroom, Dh25,000 for a two-bedroom unit.

AL BUTINA: Bu Tina is an apartment-only community in Sharjah. It is famous as a commercial district. Affordability and convenience make it popular among bachelors and families.
