Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center Camel Trek arrives at Expo 2020 Dubai. The camel trekkers travelled 640 kilometres across the UAE’s deserts from Liwa’s Empty Quarter in Abu Dhabi and were given a warm welcome at Expo 2020 Dubai site.

The caravan comprising 29 camel trekkers from 21 countries, participating in the 8th Camel Trek organised by Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC), has been navigating the UAE deserts for almost two weeks now.

The camel caravan started at dawn on December 9 from Liwa Empty Quarters in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi.

This is the eighth edition of the camel trek organised by the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Centre that invites explorers annually on a unique journey across the sands.
