Pakistani star Mahira Khan teases film update, warrant issued against Ayesha Sana

Pakistani star Mahira Khan is stoked about her upcoming project, a biopic on Pakistan's first woman Lieutenant General, Nigar Johar. A non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against actor and host Ayesha Sana under the allegations of cybercrime. On Tuesday, the Lahore court issued the warrant, after a plaintiff named Yousuf Baig accused her of defaming his family online. Reportedly, Ayesha has been accused of posting inappropriate photos of the plaintiff's wife and daughter on social media without their permission. He has claimed that the photos posted have “brought disgrace” upon his family. Earlier in July 2020, Ayesha was summoned to the courts after being accused of borrowing Rs2 million from the plaintiff, and then trying to repay them with a bounced cheque.

The trailer of Yasir Hussain and Ayesha Omar’s movie ‘Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer’ has dropped. “You will know how refined an actor Yasir Hussain is after watching the film,” said Abu Aleeha, who has written and directed the film. Hussain looks virtually unrecognizable in this new movie. The film is based on Pakistan’s most notorious serial killer Javed Iqbal, who in 1999 went to a newspaper and confessed to killing 100 boys.

Hussain took to Instagram to share an adorable video of his wife Iqra Aziz singing the popular track ‘Baby Shark’ to their son Kabir.
