Dubai's Filmfare Achievers Night: All the Bollywood and Pakistani stars attending the star-studded event

The annual Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night is one of the biggest events on the UAE social calendar and will play out like a Bollywood musical, with on-stage action, dance and awards. The dazzle of the night comes with promise looking at the roster of A-listers headed to Dubai on October 28 for the star-studded event at The Meydan Hotel. We look at all the talents confirmed so far:

Bollywood star Nora Fatehi and Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly are the latest celebrity names to join the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night awards, which will be held in the UAE on October 28 at The Meydan Hotel. Fatehi, who impressed fans with her dance moves in films such as ‘Street Dancer 3D’ and songs that include ‘Dilbar’ (‘Satyameva Jayate) and ‘Kamariya’ (‘Stree’), is bound to show off her skills at the glittering event in Dubai.

Fatehi will join Malayalam cinema's talented star Nivin Pauly who impressed fans with his role in the 2012 hit 'Thattathin Marayathu', followed by 2014's 'Bangalore Days'.

Sunny Leone: The Bollywood sensation promises to be one of the highlights of the night as the actress is sure to set the stage on fire with her live performance. Leone, who made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Jism 3’, is sure to shake it to some of her popular tracks at the event at The Meydan Hotel.

Nawazuddin Siddique: The talented actor has been impressing us with his acting in whatever platform we see him on – be it with films such as ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ or web shows such as ‘Sacred Games’. The Indian National Award winning actor will be seen next in films such as ‘Bole Chudiyan’ and ‘Heropanti 2’.

Zareen Khan: Superstar Salman Khan’s find, everyone remembers Zareen Khan as the ‘Character Dheela’ girl. The Indian film actress has also branched out into Punjabi films with ‘Daaka’ to her name, while turning host for MTV’s ‘Troll Police’.

Urvashi Rautela: The former Indian beauty queen turned actress has been a regular fixture on the social scene in Dubai. Last seen in the music video of ‘Versace Baby’, which was filmed here, Rautela last starred in the film ‘Virgin Bhanupriya’.

Mahira Khan: She is one of the bonafide superstars to come out of the Pakistani entertainment industry. Anything Mahira Khan does never fails to impress. The actress who has given us films such as ‘Bin Roye’, ‘Superstar’, ‘Verna’ and the Bollywood film ‘Raees’, is sure to get the crowd cheering.

Humayun Saeed: Often called the Shah Rukh Khan of Pakistani cinema, actor-producer Humayun Saeed is a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry. In fact, he was often ranked amongst the highest paid TV actors of his time in Pakistan.

Maniesh Paul: The film actor and television host extrodinaire will be engaging stars and the crowds as he takes to the Meydan stage in Dubai on October 28. Paul will be hosting the star-studded event on the night and it promises to be entertaining.

Shruti Haasan: Actress-singer Shruti Haasan is an acting blueblood with father Kamal Haasan and mother Sarika passing down their legacy to their talented daughter. Haasan has made a name for herself in the Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries and commands a fan following few can match.

Sunil Grover: The actor-comedian will be an entertaining addition to the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night for sure. After making a name on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, Grover was last seen in the Amazon Prime Video web series ‘Tandav’, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Dimple Kapadia and Kritika Kamra among others. He had also acted in the Salman and Katrina Kaif-starrer ‘Bharat’ in 2019.

Manish Malhotra: Designer to stars such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and more, you haven’t arrived in Bollywood if you haven’t been photographed in a Manish Malhotra ensemble. We reckon he will be checking out some of the celebrity looks on the night.

Shefali Shah: As one of the most talented stars on streaming platforms today, Shefali Shah has always impressed during her stint in Bollywood but it was her turn as the hard-hitting cop on the Netflix show ‘Delhi Crime’ that had us riveted. The actress also turned filmmaker recently and more power to her.

Jaideep Ahlawat: Another talented star who has faced a career renaissance on a web platform is Jaideep Ahlawat who walked away with accolades and awards for his role in the Anushka Sharma produced ‘Paatal Lok’ on Amazon Prime Video.

Udit Narayan: The voice of the 90s who has sung for superstars Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan over the decades is a Bollywood legend who can match.

Maya Ali: Pakistani actress Maya Ali has been a household name in the country, starting her career as a presenter before making the jump to television and films. The stunner is best known for her roles in the films ‘Mann Mayal’, ‘Sanam’ and ‘Parey Hut Love’.

Gulshan Grover: Often called the ‘Bad man’ of Bollywood, Gulshan Grover has starred in more than 400 films across his career and is still going strong in the film industry with his next being the upcoming ‘Sooryavanshi’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

Jawed Sheikh: There is hardly a Pakistani film that has featured even a cameo by the veteran star. Having built a name and a career for himself over two decades, Sheikh is also a popular name in Bollywood as well.

Sattar Saad: The talented Iraqi singer Sattar Saad who shot to fame after being featured on ‘The Voice: The Sweetest Voice (Season 2)’, which featured on MBC 4, will also be in attendance.

Walushca De Sousa: The model and film actress will also be the co-host on the night of the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Awards. The former beauty queen was last seen in the Netflix film, ‘Time to Dance’.

Shehreyar Munawar: The Pakistani actor and film producer started his career as an actor with his debut in the Hum TV’s drama, ‘Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley’. He further impressed as ‘Parey Hut Love’.

Buthaina Al Raisi: The Omani actress is a well-known name in the local film industry.

Sania Mirza: As one of India’s top-ranked female tennis player Sania Mirza is a formidable opponent on the tennis court with her racquet and a dutiful mother. The six-time Grand Slam winner will have the sports fans cheering her on.

Tulsi Kumar: Bollywood singer Tulsi Kumar has lent her voice to tracks such as ‘Dus Bahane 2.0’, ‘O Saki Saki’, ‘Tu Laung Main Elaachi’ and more.
