Nestled within the governorates of Al Dayer, Fifa, Al Raith, Al Ardah, and Al Aidabi lies a tapestry of coffee farms, each contributing to the region's rich agricultural heritage.

Coffee farmers from these governorates participated in the recently concluded first edition of the International Saudi Coffee Exhibition, held in Jazan.

The Jazan Development Strategic Office hosted the exhibition to equip farmers with expertise and best practices, bolster initiatives for increased coffee cultivation, and propel Jazan to become a global trade centre.

For these farmers and their families, cultivating and harvesting coffee beans is a cherished tradition passed down through generations.

They said that patience is key in coffee cultivation since a single tree takes three to four years before bearing fruit. The ministry's support in boosting coffee production encourages more farmers to join the coffee cultivation.
