What a fun way to introduce kids to stone art! Use acrylic paints to colour the ladybirds bodies onto stones and use markers to make spots. Finish it off with cute googly eyes.

Tip: Create a crab version by sticking the googly eyes on the shell, using red paint and legs.

5. Paper Plate Dinosaurs

All you need to make these amazing dinosaurs are paper plates, tissue rolls, googly eyes, scissors, glue and paints. Begin by cutting the paper plates in half for the body.

Cut out triangles for the spikes and a head/neck shape. Stick it all together, attaching the spikes and head to the back of the plate and backing your dinosaur with the other half of the plate. Cut the roll in two and make a slit to insert the plates. Paint your dinosaur and, when dry, stick on the googly eyes.
