Cartoon offends

As a Pakistani citizen, I strongly condemn these kinds of editorial cartoons (Gulf News, January 21). Pakistan, as a nation and army, stands against terrorism, and we are in war with evil forces like the Taliban. Such posts really hurt the feelings of our community.

Wrong image

This gives a wrong perception of Pakistan. Shame on the cartoonist, the brain behind this idea and Gulf News.

Priorities

Shame on Gulf News for sharing this cartoon. Instead of condemning the attack, the newspaper is posting such cartoons. At least be human first.

The cartoon is a statement on the current security situation in Pakistan, especially keeping in mind the recent attack on the Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The reality cannot be ignored and we, as a newspaper, will reflect that. Also, our daily cartoon covers various news subjects. However, we do take your feedback on board.
