Dubai Police announced that it would be reducing the frequency of visit by residents to ensure social distancing.

The announcement was made by Dubai Police on April 16.

While residents can still step out for essential trips like shopping for groceries and medicines or going to the ATM to withdraw money, people were advised to plan for a few days to avoid daily trips.

Trips to the ATM would only be issued once every five days.

Visit to your doctor would now come under the 'Emergency' category.

Permits for grocery or medicine shopping will be issued once every three days.
