'I am not scared of being happy'
She is young, beautiful, talented and happy. The Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram seems to have it all. Married last September after a two- year love story with a famous Lebanese dentist, Ajram returned from Monaco a week ago, where she was presented with a World Music Award.
To celebrate her professional success, Ajram will host dinner at L'eau de Vie, one of the most expensive restaurants in Beirut.
"I am not scared of being happy. Some people think that sadness follows good times, I don't think so", Ajram said.
Talking about her husband, she said: "Fady likes my success and this is very important to me. He says that he is happy when he sees me happy with my work."
Ajram also said that she would love to have children as soon as possible. "This would be the most important event of my life."
Wassouf is back
The Syrian singer George Wassouf, who was recently arrested — and released — in Sweden on charges of cocaine possession, returned to Lebanon. A few days after his arrival in Beirut, Wassouf performed at a concert scheduled before his arrest.
The event gathered thousands of fans, journalists and artists who intended to show their support to the singer, who is known for his generosity and good heart.
Wassouf was also seen at a party organised by Rotana to celebrate the return of the Lebanese singer Assi Hallani to the production company. Wassouf reportedly played an important role in bringing back Hallani to Rotana music.
